Pomona banana pin and socket adapters allow rapid testing of hard-to-get pins in multi-pin connectors. Banana pin and socket adapters feature a shrouded banana jack at one end that will attach to any standard 4mm shrouded banana plug test leads as well as to all standard banana plug patch cords (shrouded, unshrouded or retractable sleeve - 4mm banana plugs).

Pin and Socket Test Adapters are extensively used to test Automotive, Aviation, and Marine Connectors.

Banana pin adapters are available for #12, #16, #20 and #22 pins and feature a flexible tip that allows testing of adjacent contacts. Banana jack socket adapters are available for #12, #16, #20 and #22 connector sockets. Pomona model 4690 banana jack socket will also slip over .025" (0.63mm) square pins.

Pomona offers a pin and socket banana kit, Pomona Model 6481. This pin and socket banana kit contains 18 pieces, one red and one black of each Pomona adapter 3560, 3561, 3562, 3563, 3564, 3565, 4690, 4691 plus one set of model 6358 test leads.
